Great to meet you!

I have about 2 decades of experience as a licensed mental health counselor and addictions counselor.

I love to learn about different religions, spiritual beliefs, and cultures. My natural sense of wonder and curiosity is a great asset in my work. By being open and accepting of my clients beliefs and ideas I can create a space that is free of judgement. My clients can feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions and make the changes necessary to meet their goals.

I meet my clients where they are in their lives, being sure to let the client guide the way. With my direct but gentle, and sometimes humorous approach, my clients often find their lives changing for the better.

Currently, I help adults with growth and behavioral changes. My main focus is working with different mental health diagnoses and addiction issues. Specifically, those who have loved ones in active addiction or any phase of recovery. I also work with individuals who are, or have been in, an abusive or narcissistic relationship. Additionally, I offer support and treatment for women living with Breast Implant Illness (BII).

Using a mind-body, person centered approach to counseling, I will assist you to recognize your strengths and help you gain the resilience to move forward and reach your goals.

My approach to therapy

I work with clients on a one-on-basis. I take a person center approach, meaning you set the stage. I meet you where you are in your life. I am very interactive in my session and I will try to make sessions more conversational than one sided.

What you can expect from me

Our first visit will be you and I getting to know each other. I will ask you many questions to help get to know you and your history. If you don't feel comfortable answering a certain question you just simply tell me that and we will move on. Your comfort and safety is my first priority.
