Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor trained in somatic interventions, sex therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), offering individual therapy for adults 18+ across Virginia. I specialize in relational trauma, identity, cultural and religious harm, intimacy, and the ways disconnection shows up in the body and in our closest relationships.

My practice is rooted in a liberation-based, somatic lens, centering people navigating systemic harm, cultural and intergenerational trauma, sexuality, and the slow work of coming back to themselves. I bring experience from residential, community mental health, and private practice settings, and I hold deep respect for the resilience, complexity, and wisdom each person carries into the room.

My approach to therapy

I don't see you as someone to be fixed, I see you as someone with wisdom already within. My role is to serve as a collaborative guide as you unlearn survival patterns, reconnect with your body, and reclaim what trauma, shame, or expectation has buried.

I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, and narrative approaches, grounded in liberation psychology and a decolonizing framework. We move at a pace that honors your nervous system and lived experience, making space for the parts of you that haven't felt safe to show up yet.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to walk away with a clearer sense of what brought you here, what you're hoping for, and hopefully, a felt sense that this is a space where you don't have to perform or edit yourself. I'll invite you to share what feels relevant, and we'll begin mapping what you need and how we might work together.

Many of my clients describe leaving that first session feeling more seen than they expected. That's the goal, not to have all the answers on day one, but to begin building the kind of trust that makes real work possible.
