In our first session together, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and understood. We’ll take time to talk about what brings you to therapy and what you’d like to gain from our work together. I’ll ask some questions to get a sense of your background, strengths, and current challenges, but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready to.
Clients often describe my style as calm, genuine, and down-to-earth. I focus on creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where you can show up as yourself. By the end of our first meeting, we’ll begin identifying some goals and next steps so that you leave with a sense of direction and support.
Therapy is a collaborative process, and the first session is simply the beginning of building trust, insight, and meaningful change together.
