Great to meet you!

If you're carrying something too heavy to manage on your own, like domestic violence, a family crisis, the loss of someone you love, or stress that's quietly taken over your daily life, I work with adults navigating exactly that. Most of my clients are women and families moving through trauma, grief, or relationship transitions that change everything underneath them. I've spent my career sitting with people in the hardest moments of their lives, and I'll tell you what I tell everyone who walks in: you don't have to come in with the right words for what you're going through. We'll figure those out together.

My approach to therapy

I draw from person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral techniques, family systems, and attachment-based work. In practice that means I meet you where you are, not where a textbook says you should be. Sessions are talk-based and collaborative. We'll work on understanding what's actually happening underneath the stress, building coping tools that fit your real life (the one with kids, work, family obligations, and not enough sleep), and moving toward the changes that matter most to you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know each other. I'll ask some questions to understand what brought you here and what you're hoping to work on, but there's zero pressure to share more than you're ready for on day one. Think of it as a conversation, not an evaluation. My goal is that you leave that first hour feeling heard, and with a clear sense of what we'll work on together going forward.
