Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to navigate the path to healing alone. As a United States Air Force veteran, a mother of two, and a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist, I bring a unique blend of structured resilience, deep empathy, and specialized clinical expertise to our sessions. I understand firsthand the complexities of high-stress environments, life transitions, and the daily balancing act of family life. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is deeply holistic, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I specialize in trauma-focused care, helping individuals process past wounds and reclaim their lives. By blending evidence-based practices like EMDR, CBT, and DBT with the somatic insights of Polyvagal Theory, we will work together to soothe your nervous system and build practical coping skills. Whether we are diving deep through psychodynamic exploration, finding present-moment flexibility with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), or focusing on rapid growth through Solution-Focused Therapy, our work is always anchored in building a strong, authentic therapeutic rapport. Together, we will unlock your innate resilience and develop the concrete skills you need to thrive.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy is a courageous step. To help ease any anxiety, here is how we will spend our first three 50-minute sessions building your foundation.

  • Session 1 (Intake & Connection): We will go over practice policies, discuss why you are seeking therapy, and briefly explore your current presenting problem.
  • Session 2 (The Deep Dive): We will complete a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment. This background helps me gather a clear clinical picture for an accurate diagnosis.
  • Session 3 (Treatment Planning): This is a collaborative session. You will share your personal goals and choose the specific types of therapy you are most interested in pursuing.
