Great to meet you!

When we 'hit the pavement' in life , someone needs to help us find the grit to get up and not give up! We need insight and tools for healing to prepare us for what comes ahead. Both professional and personal experiences have helped shape me to want to serve and help others for total health. Having over 20 years of experience working as a School Counselor, M.Ed, and recent Licensed Professional Counselor, I've worked both with individual and groups for psycho-educational counseling.

A bit about my approach to therapy

With a Christian perspective, I incorporate a Solution-Focused Therapy Adlerian approach along with a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. We'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. We'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, we'll identify your strengths, I'll challenge you and help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better."

What you can expect from our first session

Upholding ethical and confidential standards, with a spirit of a Christian perspective, clients will leave feeling heard and empowered knowing needs were identified and necessary steps were addressed to achieve goals.
