Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! Taking steps toward caring for your mental health is a powerful decision—and you should be incredibly proud of yourself for not going through it alone.

A bit about me: I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with almost 15 years of experience providing both individual and group therapy to adolescents and adults. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Monmouth University in 2013. Most recently, I served as a supervisor at a therapeutic out-of-district high school for 4 years. I am passionate about trauma informed care in schools and also have my Supervisor and Principal Certificate. My background also includes work in private practice and in-home, community-based care. I’m deeply passionate about helping individuals find balance and meaning in their lives. Outside of work, I prioritize spending quality time with my family and friends, and maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle.

My approach to therapy

I am confident in my ability to form a strong therapeutic relationship, provide you with empathy and unconditional regard, and most importantly, help you accomplish your goals. I will use a combination of strength-based practice, CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and solutions-focused therapy in our sessions.

What you can expect from me

I will always make sure you are feeling heard and supported in our sessions. I will frequently check-in with you to gauge that you feel we are on the same page and that we are working towards accomplishing your goals. Counseling is a commitment and a partnership, that we both play a role in!
