I am a clinical mental health counselor licensed in the state of Texas. I have a minor in bilingual counseling and integrated behavioral health counseling. I have an interest and a special place in my heart for trauma and assisting those attempting to overcome it. In addition, I work with clients with a wide range of concerns and from various backgrounds.
My counseling style is warm, interactive, yet direct and client led. I believe in treating everyone with respect, empathy, honesty, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach varies depending on client needs, therapeutic goals, presenting concerns and motivation. I combine different therapeutic modalities using an eclectic approach and explore each person using a biopsychosocial lens to gain an increase in understanding of each person’s life and concerns.
