Great to meet you!

I am trained in EMDR by an EMDRIA-approved trainer, and I am skilled in using this powerful therapeutic approach to help clients process and heal from a variety of issues, including trauma, depression, anxiety, panic, and phobias. EMDR can be a transformative tool on your journey toward recovery and healing.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. I believe that healing occurs within a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.

I integrate evidence-based approaches to help clients develop insight, process difficult experiences, and build practical coping skills. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) through an EMDRIA-approved training program and use this powerful therapeutic approach to help clients process and heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, panic, phobias, and other distressing life experiences. EMDR can be a transformative tool in reducing the emotional impact of painful memories and fostering lasting healing.

In addition to EMDR, I tailor treatment to each individual, helping clients strengthen resilience, improve emotional regulation, and move toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life. My goal is to create a supportive environment where clients can gain confidence, overcome obstacles, and experience lasting positive change.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where we begin getting to know one another. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to achieve through our work together.

I'll ask questions about your personal history, relationships, mental health, and any significant life experiences to gain a better understanding of your unique situation. You're welcome to share at your own pace—there is no pressure to discuss anything before you feel ready.

We'll also talk about your strengths, identify your treatment goals, and develop a plan that fits your individual needs. If EMDR or another evidence-based approach may be beneficial, I'll explain how it works and answer any questions you have. My priority is to ensure you feel comfortable, heard, and supported as we begin your journey toward healing and lasting change.
