Great to meet you!

Merrett is an experienced therapist who has worked across nearly every corner of the psychotherapy world including hospitals, residential treatment, outpatient care, and jails. She is also the author of How to Thrive When You're Designed to Survive, a reflective meditation on how to engage your emotions in productive ways. Her depth of knowledge and engaging approach come from following her own passion for helping people live their best lives. She envisions a world where everyone has the ability and opportunity to live authentically — to thrive, not just survive.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist and coach, Merrett combines a client-centered, strengths-based approach within a broader frame of existential exploration. The work centers on building on the strengths you already have, both inherent and learned, to address challenges and heal old wounds.

What you can expect from me

Merrett Stufflebeem provides a warm, nonjudgmental space for clients to explore all aspects of themselves — uncovering both limitations and strengths to bring out their best selves. This process helps clients discover what makes them unique and build the strengths they need to face challenges, whether personal, professional, or spiritual.

All sessions are virtual.
