Great to meet you!

My personal life experiences influenced my decision to become a social worker/therapist. The difficulties in accessing services, breaking down social stigmas, and finding courage to improve one's life all contributed. I know firsthand that people can change their lives if provided the support and resources they need.

My approach to therapy

My approach is from a Generalist Practitioner's Perspective, trained in many therapeutic perspectives and honoring an individual's right to establish their personal goals. I have found that Rogerian, Cognitive Behavioral, and MI Perspectives are effective with Substance Use Services.

What you can expect from me

During our first meeting, we work to establish a warm, inviting, comfortable environment while providing a personal introduction, ethical and professional mandates, safety practices, platform and community resources, and completion of clinical tasks including assessment and treatment planning.
