I believe that every season of life brings its own set of challenges. My passion is helping adults, married couples, and teens navigate those difficult times with compassion and practical tools. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and I am a graduate of Liberty University’s Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling program.
I primarily use Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and the Gottman Method for married couples. My work tends to focus on issues with anxiety, depression, relationships, boundary setting, anger, and coping with grief and loss.
In a first session, I work to understand a client's concerns, background, hopes for change, and goals for therapy. My hope for the first session is creating a safe, supportive environment where healing and growth can take place.
