Great to meet you!

I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 20 years ever seeking to improve my knowledge and skill in the service of providing the best care I can for the clients that come to see me while at the same time ensuring to create a safe and accepting environment where clients are treated with great compassion as we work together to meet any challenges that may arise during the process.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I help clients make significant changes in their lives through a combination of very practical goal oriented modalities like Cognitive Behavioral therapy, assertiveness and social skills training, life coaching as well as supportive modalities like insight therapy, guided visualizations and relaxation techniques. In addition, I also work with clients using approaches that include meditation, mindfulness and Ericksonian Hypnosis.

What you can expect from our first session

I will provide a safe, accepting, compassionate therapy environment where you will be empathically listen to with out judgement. When you feel comfortable and trusting enough of the therapeutic relationship, we will Identify the most important goals you would like to achieve and work together to develop the practical skills you'll need to surpass these goals and improve your quality of life. While we do this you will receive ongoing support and patience during any challenges you might encounter.
