Great to meet you!

H, I'm Dr. Michelle Echols and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's and Doctorate in Social Work from the University of Kentucky and more than a decade of experience helping people untangle some of life's most complicated moments — relationship struggles, family tension, substance use, and the rollercoaster that comes with being a teenager.

My sweet spots are teens, couples, and families. I genuinely love this work, and I especially love watching people who felt stuck start to move again.

My approach to therapy

How I work: I'm direct — in the best way. I'm not going to let you wander in circles for months. I'll help you figure out what's actually going on, where you want to go, and what's getting in the way. That said, I never have a one-size-fits-all agenda. I start by understanding your situation, your goals, and what's already working for you — and we build from there.

What you can expect from me

Think of our sessions as a place where real talk meets real tools. You won't just feel heard — you'll leave with concrete strategies you can actually use between sessions.

What I want for you: To feel more like yourself again. More confident in your relationships. More capable of handling what life throws at you. Whether you're in the middle of a crisis or just ready for something to shift, I'm here to help you get there — at a pace that works for you.

Ready to take that first step? I'd love to connect.
