Great to meet you!
Raised in South Florida, I grew up immersed in a culturally diverse community that shaped my deep appreciation for people’s unique stories and struggles. After high school, I joined the military and served as a medic in hospitals across the country. There, I witnessed firsthand the effects of trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. Many of the individuals I encountered simply needed someone to truly listen. These early experiences sparked an interest in mental health that gradually evolved into a lifelong calling.
Following my military service, I dedicated 25 years to public service, focusing on supporting individuals experiencing homelessness. Many of them faced significant mental health challenges, including PTSD, depression, anxiety, and substance use. My work often centered on crisis intervention and preserving the dignity and safety of those in need.
