Great to meet you!

Hi there! I’m Mora and I’m a queer, neurodivergent therapist committed to helping people take back the reins of their lives. I’m a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC); however, my specialty areas are not exclusive to addiction. I support clients through anxiety, negative thought patterns, and relationship issues.

My approach to therapy

With values rooted in respect, acceptance, and collaboration, I strive to create an affirming space where clients feel empowered to safely explore sensitive topics. My style is reflective, action-oriented, and grounded in a harm reduction approach. Rather than learning to ignore or judge negative beliefs, I use a harm reduction approach that encourages clients to respond with nonjudgmental curiosity, reducing the impact of critical thoughts while building sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

From our very first session, I let clients know that I have no expectations about what—or how much—of their background they want to share. I highlight that there is no urgency to tell your entire life story in just 50-minutes. Opening up takes courage and patience, and I believe therapy should move at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for each person. As we continue working together, my goal is to help clients reframe unhelpful beliefs, embrace autonomy, and prioritize their emotional well-being.
