My name is Dr. Mukwel Aiyuk, I am a doctor of nursing practice with dual specialties in family and psychiatric mental health. I completed a BSN from the University of Nevada, Reno, NV, an MSN from George Washington University, Washington DC, and a DNP from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN. I have taken care of many patients with various psychiatric/mental health challenges for over 19 years.
My approach to health, health care, and mental health is holistic – i.e. the complete healing of the whole person. Therefore, I listen to my patients and involve them in developing all aspects of their treatment plan to ensure the best possible outcome.
Patients should expect timely, compassionate, and competent care. They should expect that I will listen to them and that together we’ll establish measurable and achievable goals that we’ll pursue.
