Nancy Tinajero

My field of expertise is based on being both a trained clinician and a mother of four children. I have provided life solutions to uncontrolled marriage issues, anger issues, and adolescence-related parenting issues. I specialize in marriage counseling, communication issues, relationships, parenting struggles, and family therapy. I am also trained in women, parenting, educational and spiritual issues. Upon request I can provide Catholic or nondenominational Christian counseling.

I like to help people heal emotional and behavior problems with a warm and direct therapeutic approach. The right atmosphere conducive for change is one that is friendly, full of hope, and non-judgmental. I am experienced in Acceptance and Commitment Theory, Solution Based Brief Therapy, as well as in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

I take time to get to know each person individually and to understand their concerns. Together we find the intervention that works Best. I strive to form a sincere and compassionate relationship with each client, while empowering clients to become the expert in their own treatment. Through a Client-Centered approach I like to empower clients.
