Nicole Sisti

I am an LCSW and have been working as a therapist in Brooklyn for over 6 years. I am also a musician and tour throughout the year. I bring an open mind to my clients and encourage any form of exploration. I am best suited for clients who have flexible schedules and who are comfortable with possible breaks in treatment while I tour.

I combine talk therapy while emphasizing the need to feel, re-process, and experience new emotions. The interventions I use depend on you, where you are at and what you bring into the room. I use integrated techniques and draw primarily from Internal-Family Systems, ACT, CBT & mindfulness. I can be solution oriented while leaving space to unpack and process the past. I also do Brainspotting which is designed to help people access, process, and overcome trauma through their visual field.

I value collaboration and will use a strength-based, person-centered approach in our work together. My role as a therapist is to foster a safe space and guide the healing process because I view you as the expert on your life. Some sessions will be focused on the body and mindfulness, other's may be more direct and intervention based. Some sessions we will explore the past and discuss patterns from early childhood that influence the way you relate and connect to people in the present day.
