Great to meet you!

I am a Professional Counselor (LPC) licensed in Washington, D.C. and Virginia. My internships included The Wendt Center for Loss and Healing, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) in Washington, D.C.; the Virginia Hospital Center, and the Arlington Free Clinic in Arlington, Virginia.

I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Marymount University in 2014. My areas of practice include anxiety, depression, and unresolved trauma - including childhood emotional neglect, sexual, physical, emotional abuse.

My approach to therapy

Sometimes things happen to us that leave us feeling ashamed, guilty, anxious, and depressed. There may be

unresolved issues from the past that you struggle with. There is hope.

You are not defined by the pain of your past – you can reclaim your life. The path to healing and wholeness may be challenging, but the end result is well worth it.

I will walk with you as you work through the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that keep you from living a happy, healthy, purposeful life.

In short: my therapeutic style is client-centered - it's about you and what you want to accomplish in therapy, We will use the following approaches to get you to accomplish your goals: EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), IFS (Internal Family System), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Theory), Strength-based, Mindfulness-based Counseling - and if requested, Christian counseling.

I
