Throughout my professional life, I have been a teacher, parent, and mental health therapist. I hold undergraduate degrees in Art Education and Counseling, as well as a Master's degree in Social Work. I am licensed as an LMHC and have been in private practice for over 14 years. Georgia, a French bulldog, is my co-working therapy dog. We both enjoy meeting people and helping them create a healthier, more fulfilling life.
My treatment modalities include CBT, DBT, EMDR, play therapy, and solution-focused therapy. I provide a trusting, non-judgmental, client-centered atmosphere where people of all ages can share their stories and find hope and healing. My approach is creative and focused on individualized client goals.
It is my sincere hope that clients take away a feeling of safety and hope that leads them to change. This could take the form of journaling, reflection, skill use, or insight development. Session formats are meant to leave clients feeling heard, validated and empowered.
