Great to meet you!

At Healing Minds Counseling and Wellness Life Coach, Inc., we believe in no criticism, no judgement, and no condemnation. I consider it a privilege and honor to join you on your journey to healing, wellness and wholeness. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology. I have several years of experience with providing individual, family and couples counseling. Through therapeutic excellence and compassionate care, I am dedicated to helping you achieve your goals of mental and emotional health so that you can be the person you aspire to be in your personal and professional life.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Therapy is not a one size fits all and no one technique works for everyone; therefore, I use an eclectic approach that is rooted in flexibility, drawing from a variety of psychological theories and techniques to best meet the unique needs of each client. Rather than adhering strictly to one therapeutic modality, I integrate elements from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, humanistic approaches, and mindfulness-based interventions, among others. This allows me to tailor my approach based on the individual's personality, concerns, and goals, fostering a collaborative and dynamic therapeutic process. By combining different strategies, I can address emotional, cognitive, and behavioral aspects of a client’s experience helping them gain insight, develop coping skills, and create meaningful change. I also bring into the therapeutic relationship, experience and expertise in the areas of anxiety, depression, anger management, PTSD and Trauma.

What you can expect from our first session

I provide a space where clients can safely explore vulnerability, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and find balance in their lives. By addressing both the emotional and psychological layers of their experiences, I support them in achieving their therapeutic goals so they can have emotional well-being and lasting fulfillment.
