Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a background in crisis response, emergency mental health, and correctional settings. I’ve worked with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, and high-stress life experiences.

My approach is direct, supportive, and solution-focused. I’m not a believer that therapy should last forever. My goal is to help you identify what’s going on, work through it, and build the tools you need to move forward. I’m trained in trauma-focused therapy, including EMDR, and focus on helping clients process experiences, not just manage symptoms.

I frequently work with veterans, first responders, and individuals exposed to high-pressure environments, while welcoming clients from all backgrounds. I aim to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and challenged in a way that leads to real, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is direct, collaborative, and solution-focused. I believe therapy should be meaningful and effective, not something that goes on indefinitely. Together, we identify what’s driving your current challenges, process underlying experiences, and build practical tools to help you move forward.

I integrate trauma-focused approaches, including EMDR, to help clients work through experiences at a deeper level rather than just managing symptoms. I also focus on patterns, emotional responses, and the connection between past experiences and present behavior.

I aim to create a space that is supportive but also honest and productive, where you feel understood while being challenged in a way that leads to real, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we’ll focus on getting a clear understanding of what’s bringing you in and what you want to get out of therapy. I’ll ask questions to learn about your current concerns, relevant history, and any patterns you’ve been noticing.

This isn’t just an information-gathering session. We’ll start identifying key areas to focus on and begin building a plan for how to move forward. I also use this time to make sure the approach feels like a good fit for you.

You can expect a conversation that is supportive, direct, and goal-oriented, with a focus on helping you feel both understood and clear on next steps.
