Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Addiction Treatment Counselor-IV (CATC-IV) with experience working in mental health for the last 4 years and substance use treatment, including LGBTQIA(plus) affirming and dual-diagnosis care for the last 8 years. I work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, addiction, and life transitions, and I have a strong focus on supporting individuals in recovery and the LGBTQ+ community. My approach is practical and collaborative, using tools like CBT and motivational interviewing to help you better understand patterns and build real-life coping skills. I aim to create a space that feels supportive, direct, and nonjudgmental so you can move toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is direct, supportive, and grounded in real-life change. I specialize in working with individuals in recovery and members of the LGBTQ+ community, helping clients navigate substance use, identity, relationships, and emotional regulation. I use approaches like CBT and motivational interviewing to build practical coping skills, while also exploring deeper patterns through an attachment and systems lens. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest, feel understood, and start making meaningful, lasting shifts.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a relaxed, straightforward conversation focused on understanding what’s bringing you in and getting a sense of who you are. We’ll go over your current challenges, any background that feels important, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. I’ll help you begin identifying goals and map out a clear direction for our work together. I’ll also walk you through how I work and what you can expect from sessions moving forward. The goal is to provide a space that feels steady, respectful, and leaves you with some clarity and a sense of next steps.
