Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! I'm Pamela Valdez, a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Therapist with over 10 years of experience supporting teens and adults residing in New York. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, understanding, faith, and evidence-based care.

My approach to therapy

I provide a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to therapy that integrates Christian faith for those who desire it, creating space to explore emotional well-being through both a clinical and spiritual lens. My specialties include anxiety, depression, grief, body image concerns, life transitions, and pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting-related challenges. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll take time to explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your current concerns, and identify goals that feel meaningful to you. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. Together, we'll begin building a plan that helps you develop insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward the changes you hope to see in your life.
