Great to meet you!

My name is Pauline McFarland and I became a therapist because I deeply love helping people who have been through hard situations and want to make their life better. I love seeing people not just heal, but the impact that they make when they are happier and healthier on their families, friends, and communities.

I have a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and have specialized training in Emotionally-Focused Therapy for Individuals and Couples.

My approach to therapy

I use CBT to assist people with negative thoughts and uncontrollable worries. I also use DBT and CPT to assist clients with learning emotional regulation skills, communication skills, and cognitive processing for those struggling with past traumas and relationships.

What you can expect from me

You really want a therapist who knows that therapy is not a one size fits all. You’re hoping for someone who understands how important it is for you to feel comfortable in therapy, and you want someone who you can trust. Im here to help and I believe our therapeutic alliance is the most important factor to you succeeding in therapy.
