Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals through stress, transition, and emotional overwhelm. I earned my Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Delta State University and have worked with clients across the lifespan. Over the years, I’ve supported people navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, life adjustments, self-esteem challenges, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and schizoaffective disorders.

My style is warm, honest, and collaborative. I take a culturally informed and trauma-aware approach, paying close attention to the patterns, roles, and emotional cycles that show up in your life. My goal is to provide a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow at your own pace.

My approach to therapy

My approach blends relational, trauma-informed, and evidence-based practices. I pull from CBT, ACT, Narrative Therapy, EFT, mindfulness-based work, and somatic awareness to help you understand the “why” behind your patterns and develop tools that genuinely fit your life.

I show up with honesty, curiosity, and a steady presence. I don’t believe in quick fixes or judgment; instead, we focus on building self-awareness, strengthening emotional regulation, and creating meaningful shifts in how you relate to yourself and others. Therapy with me is an active partnership: I help you make sense of your internal world, and together we work toward clarity, ease, and sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

Before our intake session, I offer a brief, free telephone consultation so we can make sure we’re a good fit. It’s a chance for you to share what you’re looking for, ask questions, and get a feel for my style before committing to ongoing therapy.

In your first official session, we move at a comfortable pace. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you in, what your goals are, and what you need most right now. You can expect a mix of gentle structure and open conversation: nothing rushed, nothing pressured. My priority is helping you feel grounded, safe, and understood while we begin mapping out the themes, patterns, and strengths that will guide our work together.
