Great to meet you!

I earned my BSN in 2015 and began working as a psychiatric nurse in 2016, where I developed a passion for mental health care and supporting individuals through challenging periods in their lives. While working in psychiatric settings, I gained experience treating patients with depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, schizoaffective disorder, and other mood and thought disorders. These experiences inspired me to earn a Master in Psychiatric Nursing. Working with diverse patient populations has shaped my approach to be compassionate, collaborative, and focused on individualized, evidence-based care.

My approach to therapy

I provide a compassionate and judgment-free space where clients can feel safe discussing their concerns and goals. During the first appointment, I complete a thorough assessment to better understand each client’s symptoms, personal history, and overall needs so we can create a personalized treatment plan together. I view progress as gradual and unique to each individual, whether that means improved emotional well-being, better coping strategies, symptom management, or enhanced daily functioning. I enjoy working with adults from diverse backgrounds who are seeking support and are willing to actively participate in their treatment journey.

What you can expect from me

In the first visit, clients can expect a supportive, judgment-free space where we review their concerns, symptoms, and personal history in detail. I conduct a comprehensive psychiatric assessment covering medical, psychiatric, and social factors to understand their overall needs. Together, we start outlining goals and building an individualized treatment plan, which may include medications, therapy recommendations, and coping strategies. My focus is to ensure clients feel heard, respected, and engaged in their care while establishing a clear direction for ongoing treatment and progress.
