Great to meet you!

Healing starts with feeling safe, understood, and genuinely supported. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a wide range of concerns. I help clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional overwhelm, mood changes, low self-esteem, life transitions, behavior concerns, and relationship stress. I also have specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which I use to help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and move through life’s challenges with greater confidence, self-awareness, and stability.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centered, and strengths-based. I believe each person has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change when given the right support and tools. I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, EMDR, mindfulness-based techniques, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Brainspotting, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. CBT helps identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, DBT builds coping skills and emotional regulation, EMDR and Brainspotting can help process trauma and distressing experiences, and solution-focused work helps create practical steps forward. Whether we are working on anxiety, trauma, depression, triggers, relationship difficulties, or self-exploration, my goal is to help you better understand your patterns, build resilience, and create lasting progress.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive environment where we begin building a strong foundation for our work together. We will talk through your current concerns, relevant background information, and what has brought you to therapy at this point in your life. I will ask questions to better understand your goals, symptoms, stressors, and what you hope to gain from counseling, while also giving you space to ask questions about me, my approach, and whether this feels like the right fit. My priority is to help you feel heard, respected, and comfortable moving at a pace that feels right for you. By the end of the session, my hope is that you leave with greater clarity, a sense of support, and confidence about the next steps forward.
