Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over 8 years of nursing experience in behavioral health, acute care, correctional health, and outpatient mental health settings. I am passionate about helping individuals improve their mental health and overall well-being, and I truly value the opportunity to make a positive difference in my patients’ lives.

My approach to care is patient-centered, supportive, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a safe and comfortable environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their mental health journey. I work with individuals experiencing a variety of mental health conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, and stress-related concerns.

I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals. Whether you are seeking guidance, emotional support, or medication treatment, I am committed to working collaboratively with you to help improve your quality of life and emotional wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is evidence-based, holistic, and patient-centered. I believe that mental health treatment should be individualized and collaborative, with each patient actively involved in their care and treatment decisions. I strive to create a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and goals.

I focus on treating the whole person by considering emotional, psychological, physical, and social factors that may impact mental health and overall well-being. My goal is to provide comprehensive care through psychiatric evaluations, medication management, supportive therapy, and education tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

I am committed to helping clients develop effective coping strategies, improve daily functioning, and achieve long-term emotional wellness while utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches and best clinical practices.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they feel comfortable sharing their concerns, experiences, and goals. My priority is to ensure that each client feels heard, understood, and respected throughout the appointment.

The initial session focuses on getting to know the client as a whole person, discussing current symptoms, mental health history, stressors, lifestyle factors, and treatment goals. Together, we will develop a personalized plan that may include medication management, supportive therapy, coping strategies, and other tools to support emotional wellness.

My goal is for clients to leave their first session feeling validated, encouraged, and hopeful about their mental health journey. I want each individual to feel proud of taking the important step toward prioritizing their mental health and confident that they have support moving forward.
