Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinician specializing in trauma-informed care, with experience supporting individuals navigating PTSD, panic disorders, depression, and anxiety related to life transitions. I have worked extensively with survivors of domestic violence and within the LGBTQ+ community and provide affirming, culturally responsive care to clients. I am trained and certified in EMDR therapy, helping client process traumatic memories and integrating new ways to respond in their lives, as well as couples therapy, allowing me to support both individuals and partners in their healing and growth. I offer services in both English and Urdu, creating an accessible and inclusive space for diverse communities. My goal is for clients to leave each session feeling empowered to navigate challenges independently—grounded in a sense of support while also meaningfully challenged to grow.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I utilize an integrative framework, drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities as tools within talk therapy. This allows me to adapt treatment to best support each client’s goals, whether that involves processing traumatic memories, building coping skills, improving relationships, or developing deeper self-awareness and emotional regulation to be able to move through life with a sense of fulfillment and empowerment.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment in the first session. I focus on getting to know you—your experiences, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve in therapy—so we can begin identifying meaningful goals together. I also assess how I can best support your needs and whether my approach is the right fit for you. If I believe a different type of specialized care would better serve you, I will be transparent and help guide you toward the appropriate resources, as my priority is ensuring you receive the most effective support possible.
