Great to meet you!

I am an open, kind, and easy-going clinician. I strive to create a non-judgmental space where clients may feel heard and understood.

I was in the military and I understand military culture. I love working with those who have or had experience in the military. I am a mother of two children now in adulthood. I am married and have pet "children", now. I used to teach sixth grade and have compassion for all ages. I love my job and love helping people see their positive changes and to see themselves grow.

I am dedicated to providing a space of trust and innovation.

My approach to therapy

I like to approach treatment by the style of the client. I am a bit solution-focused, person-centered, and like to provide existential care, but I try to curtail my approach to the needs of the client and the style of the client's personality to help my clients feel more comfortable sharing their intimate thoughts and feelings. I do like to use mindfulness and cognitive behavioral approaches to help my clients learn to replace unwanted behaviors with more positive and acceptable ones.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to see themselves differently, in a more positive way and have a new awareness of themselves.
