Great to meet you!

I am licensed in New York with 9 years of professional work experience. I have experience in treating and diagnosing depression, anxiety, stress management, perinatal, substance use and various other areas. Currently I hold my NYS license in MH counseling, CASAC-Masters (Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor), NCC (National Certified Counselor) and PMH-C (Perinatal Mental Health Certification).

A bit about my approach to therapy

I utilize in my therapy practice, a Person Centered, Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused approach. The style of therapy is based on your personal needs in therapy and the identification of your goals. I explore and learn about you, to understand you, including your past and current life experiences. This is your therapy and I will strive to give you a positive and rewarding experience.

What you can expect from our first session

A journey of healing, an increase of positive self reflection and ability to process difficult presenting issues. I believe in being genuine and kind to everyone. I also believe that there is no definition of what deems the need for therapy. The important aspect of this to me is that no matter what you would like to discuss, it is of value and holds a purpose to you and to me.
