Great to meet you!

My journey to becoming a counselor began with my own experience of loneliness and feeling misunderstood as a highly sensitive person in high school. Since then I’ve felt a strong calling to support others and be present with them during difficult moments. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Kansas and have a Master of Arts in Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

I see individual adults for issues like depression, anxiety, PTSD, and grief.

My approach to therapy

I bring a calm, gentle, and relational presence to our work together. My communication style is both compassionate and straightforward. Most importantly, I prioritize kind, open, and non-judgmental dialogue as the foundation of our interactions. I'm open to feedback and strive to avoid making assumptions about you or your experiences. If you need a gentle approach or consider yourself highly sensitive, you may find my way of communicating helps you feel more at ease.

What you can expect from me

I believe you are the expert on yourself and that you have the capacity to heal and flourish. I work collaboratively with clients, understanding that your goals may evolve over time. As you gain insight and a deeper understanding of yourself, you may choose to shift your focus in therapy. I’ll check in regularly to ensure we’re moving in a direction that feels most helpful to you. Our work together might focus on reducing anxiety, improving relationship dynamics, processing traumatic experiences, or pursuing another personal goal that matters to you. Whatever the focus, I’ll offer support and share relevant tools to help you move toward the outcomes you’re hoping for in therapy.
