Great to meet you!

My start in this field came from working as an advocate at a domestic violence shelter. I then worked in community mental health for six years, as a therapist and clinical supervisor. I have experienced great personal growth from receiving my own therapy, and love to aid others. Each client’s path in therapy looks different. When I'm not working, I love spending time with my wife, kids, and dogs! I also enjoy reading novels and drinking coffee.

My approach to therapy

I make sure to identify each individual’s specific needs in therapy and adapt my session structure to match. As a therapist, I am a huge advocate for social justice and underserved communities and most of my experience is with BIPOC, queer, female, trans/non-binary, and disabled clients. I integrate validation of client experiences and challenge clients to make appropriate and healthy changes in their lives.

What you can expect from me

It is my hope that clients will leave sessions feeling as if they have processed a difficult situation or emotion, or have gained new therapeutic skills to address mental health symptoms.

Please reach out to me to schedule a consultation! I have more availability than what is shown on the Headway calendar. I would love to meet to see if we are a good fit!
