Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Rachel Reeves, LPC. I’m a licensed professional counselor with a Master’s in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. I specialize in helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma through warm, collaborative talk therapy. Alongside extensive training in expressive arts and play therapy, I also integrate clinical hypnosis when it’s a good fit. These creative and mind–body tools can support deeper awareness and help release stored tension, but our work always begins with conversation, safety, and connection. My approach blends insight, art, imagery, and calm, grounded dialogue to help you reconnect with your inner wisdom and sense of ease.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, person-centered, and collaborative. I believe therapy is most powerful when it feels like a genuine, safe relationship where all parts of you are welcome. While my foundation is in Gestalt and Person-Centered therapy, I also integrate hypnosis, mindfulness, and expressive arts as experiential tools that go beyond talk alone. These methods invite your subconscious and creative self into the process, helping you understand emotions, shift patterns, and strengthen self-trust from the inside out.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a space that feels affirming, creative, and grounded in compassion. We’ll begin by exploring what brings you to therapy and what safety and support look like for you. Many clients leave sessions feeling lighter and more centered, with both practical grounding tools and a renewed sense of clarity. Over time, clients often describe feeling more connected to their authentic self, experiencing relief from anxious or self-critical thoughts, and discovering new ways to relax and restore balance. My goal is that you leave each session with a growing sense of empowerment, calm, and possibility.
