Great to meet you!

Greetings everyone,

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive clinical experience across a variety of treatment settings. I earned my undergraduate degree from Immaculata University and my Master of Social Work from Rutgers University.

Over the years, I have worked in inpatient psychiatric settings, nursing homes, and emergency departments as a crisis therapist, and I have provided in-home crisis interventions for adults, older adults, adolescents, and children within school settings. I have also had the privilege of working with veterans experiencing PTSD and co-occurring mental health diagnoses.

My clinical experience includes working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, sleep disorders, and other mental health challenges. I value working with individuals from all walks of life and strive to provide compassionate, ethical, and client-centered care. My therapeutic approach is informed by evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy spending time with family and close friends, cooking vegan meals, walking, reading Psalms, meditating, and taking road trips.

I am also committed to lifelong learning and regularly engage in continuing education and professional training to enhance my clinical skills and maintain high ethical standards.

I look forward to working collaboratively with clients to identify strengths and develop practical coping skills to support their mental health goals. I currently have day and evening availability.

Please feel free to reach out via phone or email with any questions.

My approach to therapy

I prefer to apply a range of therapeutic approaches based on the presenting problems rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. I consider the person’s needs, their goals, and past experiences in therapy. In the past, I have incorporated Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and a Holistic Approach, among others. It is helpful to combine techniques that can help target how the client thinks, feels, and acts.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a comfortable space to discuss the reason for seeking therapy, build rapport, and evaluate if I am a good match for their needs. They can expect to discuss their background at their comfort level and to address some logistics, including which documents will need to be signed, the limits of confidentiality, cancellation policies, and what they hope to achieve in therapy.
