Great to meet you!

Welcome! Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and I am glad you're here. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, chronic illness, trauma, grief, body image concerns, and other emotional challenges. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings, including crisis intervention, inpatient psychiatry, emergency departments, schools, and medical environments, supporting individuals across the lifespan.

Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, navigating the impact of a chronic illness, struggling with anxiety, or working through a difficult life transition, therapy can provide a space to gain clarity, strengthen coping skills, and move toward the life you want to create. I am committed to providing a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where we can work together to identify your strengths, address barriers to growth, and create meaningful, lasting change. It would be an honor to be part of your journey toward healing and well-being.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy spending time with family and close friends, cooking vegan meals, walking, reading Psalms, meditating, and taking road trips.

I am also committed to lifelong learning and regularly engage in continuing education and professional training to enhance my clinical skills and maintain high ethical standards.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe that meaningful change happens when clients feel safe, heard, and supported. Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I help clients better understand themselves, develop effective coping strategies, and build resilience in the face of life's challenges.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive space to share what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the experience. We'll spend time getting to know one another, exploring your concerns at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and determining whether we're a good fit for your needs and goals.

We'll also review important practice information, including confidentiality, consent forms, scheduling and cancellation policies, and any questions you may have about the therapeutic process. Together, we'll begin identifying goals and creating a foundation for meaningful and collaborative work.
