Raquel has over 10 years of experience in mental health. She owns a private practice, Omni Elite Counseling & Consulting, where she serves youth, adolescents, and adults. She holds a license as a LMHC and a professional certificate as a School Counselor. Raquel also has experience working with athletes, providing mental skills training to address performance issues. She is in the process of obtaining a doctoral degree in Sports and Performance Psychology.

Raquel prides herself on having a warm, relaxed and approachable counseling style. She believes in treating each individual with the same level of respect, compassion, patience, and sensitivity while also valuing their cultural diversity and identities. Raquel’s therapeutic approach combines cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, client-focused, and trauma-focused techniques.
