Great to meet you!

Hello! I am Rasheedat Koleosho, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over a decade of experience delivering compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, complex PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. I am also Clozapine REM-certified, offering expert management of complex treatment plans involving clozapine.

My clinical background includes working in crisis stabilization centers, inpatient psychiatric settings, and Level I trauma emergency rooms as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, where I have cared for individuals experiencing acute psychiatric crises, severe mental health conditions, and complex behavioral health needs. These experiences have strengthened my ability to provide calm, compassionate, and effective care in both high-acuity and long-term treatment settings.

My approach to care is holistic and individualized—I aim to understand the full picture of your mental, emotional, and physical well-being to craft a treatment plan that fits your unique needs. Whether through supportive therapy, medication management, or a combination of both, I work collaboratively with you in a safe, nonjudgmental space where your voice is heard and valued.

My goal is to help you build resilience, restore balance, and move toward lasting mental wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to providing care is rooted in supportive therapy, which centers on empathy, trust, and emotional connection. I prioritize creating a safe, welcoming space where you feel seen, heard, and valued. I take the time to truly understand your story, meet you where you are, and walk alongside you without judgment. Together, we’ll explore your challenges, build on your strengths, and develop practical strategies to help you cope, grow, and thrive. I believe healing happens through consistent support, encouragement, and collaboration. Whether you're navigating stress, anxiety, depression, or major life transitions, my goal is to empower you with the tools and confidence to move forward.

What you can expect from me

I aim to provide a supportive and collaborative space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered. In our sessions, you can expect to gain practical coping tools, personalized strategies, and deeper self-awareness to navigate life’s challenges with confidence. My goal is to help you build resilience, develop self-compassion, and make meaningful progress toward lasting mental wellness. Each session is tailored to your needs, ensuring that you leave with greater clarity, emotional balance, and actionable steps to improve your well-being.
