Great to meet you!

I am an LICSW with over 20 years of clinical experience working with individuals and families. I received my MSW at Boston University in 2001 and am trained in EMDR and Trauma informed practice. While my clinical practice is broad in scope I work with adults and families addressing general mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, relationships concerns and adjusting to life changes. I have a passion for parental wellbeing and perinatal mental health.

My approach to therapy

My practice is dedicated to a family and person centered perspective that people are experts in their own lives. I provide a warm place where you can receive quality and collaborative support, concrete strategies, and practices to support your ability to regulate and tap into blocked emotions. I provide both traditional talk therapy and EMDR; an evidence-based therapy that facilitates clients’ own healing, by processing past traumatic experiences that continue to disturb them in the present.

What you can expect from me

While prioritizing trust, I work with you, tapping into the skills, strengths and resources you have reduce stress, achieve healthy relationships and self compassion. When you get support, you will feel empowered and be able to concentrate on the person you are meant to be.
