Great to meet you!

I work with adults who feel chronically tense, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns that once helped them cope but now feel limiting. Many people I work with appear capable and composed on the outside while their bodies remain in a constant state of stress, anxiety, or emotional shutdown.

My work is grounded in a somatic, pattern-focused approach. Together, we’ll pay attention to how your nervous system has learned to protect you—often through strategies like overfunctioning, emotional numbing, or hypervigilance—and gently explore new ways of responding that feel safer and more sustainable.

Therapy with me is collaborative and paced with care. The goal is not to force change, but to help you feel more at ease in your body, less driven by old survival strategies, and more able to meet life with presence and choice.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is holistic and trauma-informed, grounded in an understanding of how relationships, culture, and family history shape our patterns over time. I view each person within the larger systems that have influenced how they cope, connect, and protect themselves.

I integrate somatic (body-based) practices, recognizing that stress and trauma often live in the body, not just in our thoughts. Sessions may include gentle body awareness, grounding, and practical tools to support nervous system regulation.

Therapy is collaborative and tailored to your needs, with attention to emotional, physical, and behavioral experiences. The focus is on helping you feel safer in your body, more present in your life, and less driven by old survival strategies.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to connect and begin building a foundation for our work together. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what feels most challenging right now, and any patterns or concerns you’ve noticed, while prioritizing emotional safety and comfort.

There’s no pressure to share more than feels manageable. We may begin to gently notice how stress or emotions show up for you, including in your body, but only in ways that feel supportive and grounding.
