Great to meet you!

If you've been carrying something heavy, whether it's anxiety, grief, or the weight of a season that's just felt too hard, you deserve a space to set it down. I'm Rebecca, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with a background in education that gave me a real understanding of burnout, people-pleasing, and showing up for everyone but yourself. I bring that same care into my work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, PTSD, and life transitions. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in approaches that actually work, and I'd love to help you figure out what meaningful change looks like for you. Reach out and let's start there.

My approach to therapy

Our first session is a chance to breathe and just talk. I'll ask what's brought you here, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping life might feel like on the other side. From there, each session is a conversation, not a checklist. We'll look at the patterns that keep you stuck, practice strategies you can actually use between sessions, and build on the strengths you already have. Most clients leave our early sessions feeling a little lighter, like someone finally gets it, and like real change might actually be within reach.

What you can expect from me

I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and Humanistic approaches, pulling from what fits you rather than a one-size-fits-all script. In practice, that might mean working through thought patterns that keep anxiety loud, learning skills to regulate emotions in the moment, or carefully processing something from the past. I take a strengths-based, attachment-aware lens to everything I do
