Great to meet you!

. A retired Army veteran with over 20 years of service. I hold a B.S. Psychology and a M. S. in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University. Some of my advanced training includes Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Mindfulness Based Substance Use Facilitator, Certified Anger Management specialist and Shoplifting and Theft Addiction Specialist.

My approach to therapy

Imagine feeling like no one understands me or what I’m going through, imagine not being able to share this for fear of being judged or treated like something is wrong with you. Learning to accept where you are and grow to the place that you want to be. Counseling can be a great source to help you develop those skills or process those feelings. There isn’t a quick fix, it’s a process of healing, exploring and learning. With a goal of seeing that change is possible.

What you can expect from me

I’ve been in the counseling field professionally for seven years. I served in the U.S. Army for over 20 years. I graduated from Troy University with a B.S. Psychology in 2013 and a M. S. in Counseling and Psychology in 2016. My certifications include Anger Management, Shoplifting and Theft Addiction. I am a certified Mindfulness Based Substance Abuse facilitator.
