Great to meet you!

You dedicate yourself to helping others learn, heal, and grow. Yet, you feel misunderstood, perhaps having been told you are "too sensitive" or "too emotional." If you often feel overwhelmed by the demands of people and life, I want you to know that I am here to support you.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with more than 15 years of experience serving as a mentor, guide and companion to individuals who are seeking a deeper sense of balance and self-acceptance. I especially love working with "helpers" - mothers, teachers, medical professionals, therapists - and excel at connecting with women who want to better understand themselves and the roles they play in the world. I have extensive experience and expertise in treating anxiety, trauma, grief and women's issues.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and deeply empowering. I meet you exactly where you are in your journey. We will work together to help you recognize and utilize your own inner resources, transforming your perceived "flaws" into genuine strengths.

Using a whole-person approach (integrating mind, body and spirit), we will identify and work to heal core wounds that have prevented you from living your life in true authenticity and wholeness.

What you can expect from me

I view our first session as an opportunity for us to get an initial sense of each other. I'm committed to making sure that I am the right-fit-therapist for you so that you can get everything you want to get out of treatment. I hope to ease any anxiety you may be experiencing by sharing a bit about who I am within the therapy environment and what you can expect from working with me. You will have the opportunity to begin sharing your story so that I can start to understand your needs and goals.
