Great to meet you!

I’ve spent more than 25 years helping teens, adults, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges. Over the years, I’ve learned that every person has a unique story, which is why I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, relationship issues, substance use, emotional overwhelm, or questions about identity, my goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported.

I have extensive experience working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and families, including transgender and non-binary clients, and I am committed to providing affirming, compassionate care. Clients often describe me as warm, approachable, and easy to talk to. Therapy with me is a place where you can show up exactly as you are.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be both meaningful and practical. Together, we’ll explore what’s keeping you stuck while building the tools and confidence needed to create lasting change. I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness practices, hypnosis, and brain-based interventions, tailoring treatment to fit your goals and personality.

While therapy can involve deep work, it doesn’t have to feel intimidating. I bring authenticity, curiosity, and even humor into the process when appropriate. My goal is to help you gain insight, strengthen resilience, and move toward a life that feels more balanced, connected, and fulfilling.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been weighing on you, and what you’d like life to look like moving forward. There’s no pressure to share everything at once. We go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Many clients tell me they feel relieved after their first session because they finally have a space where they don’t have to explain or justify their experiences. By the end of our conversation, you’ll leave with a clearer understanding of how we can work together and what the next steps may look like.
