Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience supporting children, adolescents, and families through a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and medical challenges. My background includes work in pediatric healthcare settings, where I collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic, family-centered care.

I specialize in working with individuals navigating anxiety, adjustment to medical diagnoses, trauma, and complex family or life transitions. I also have experience supporting caregivers and families as they manage stress, system navigation, and advocacy within healthcare and school environments.

My approach is compassionate, strengths-based, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs. I draw from evidence-based practices while prioritizing a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to working with clients is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in meeting each person where they are. I believe that therapy is most effective when it feels safe, nonjudgmental, and tailored to your individual experiences, strengths, and goals.

I use a strengths-based and person-centered approach, helping clients build insight while also developing practical tools they can use in their daily lives. Depending on your needs, I may incorporate elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused strategies, and trauma-informed care. I focus on helping clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also building skills for coping, communication, and resilience.

I have a particular focus on working with children, adolescents, and families, as well as individuals navigating medical challenges, life transitions, anxiety, and stress. I also support caregivers who may be balancing complex systems, advocacy, and the emotional impact of caring for others.

Above all, I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to move toward meaningful change at your own pace.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to create a welcoming, comfortable space where you can begin to share your story at your own pace. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, and exploring any immediate concerns or goals you may have.

I’ll ask questions to better understand your background, current challenges, and strengths, while also giving you space to share what feels most important. There is no pressure to have everything figured out—this first session is about building connection and understanding.

Together, we’ll begin to identify initial goals for our work, whether that’s managing anxiety, navigating a life transition, improving coping skills, or strengthening family or communication dynamics. I’ll also explain how I work, answer any questions you have, and collaborate with you on what feels most helpful moving forward.

Above all, you can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered from the very start.
