Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence, self-understanding, and resilience. My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each client’s unique needs.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem struggles, relationship challenges, life transitions, and disordered eating patterns. I also support clients who feel stuck in unhelpful thought patterns, struggle with emotional regulation, or want to develop healthier coping strategies.

My therapeutic style is warm, non-judgmental, and practical. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), strengths-based therapy, and mindfulness strategies to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together we work to build insight, develop coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of the healing process. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to the unique needs of each client. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, heard, and understood, so I focus on creating a non-judgmental space where people can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based therapy, and mindfulness techniques to help clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck and work toward developing healthier coping strategies, improving emotional regulation, and building self-confidence.

I often incorporate practical tools and skills that clients can apply in their daily lives. Whether someone is struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, or self-esteem, my goal is to help them gain insight, develop resilience, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.

I view the therapeutic relationship as an essential part of the healing process and work alongside my clients to support their growth, goals, and overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, my goal is to help clients feel comfortable and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so I focus on creating a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe sharing their experiences.

During this session, we will talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you may be facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. I will also ask some questions about your background, current stressors, and strengths so I can better understand your situation as a whole.

Together, we will begin identifying goals for therapy and discuss what progress might look like for you. While the first session is mostly about getting to know each other and understanding your needs, many clients also leave with a better sense of clarity and the beginning of practical strategies they can start using.

My hope is that by the end of the first session you will feel heard, supported, and more hopeful about the path forward.
