Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, and substance use challenges. I use practical, evidence-based approaches like CBT, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing to support meaningful, lasting change. My style is collaborative and down-to-earth, and I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, respectful, and tailored to you. I aim to help clients build skills, gain clarity, and feel more confident as they move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, structured, and compassionate. I use evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and develop practical coping skills. I tailor treatment to each client’s goals, strengths, and lived experience, while maintaining a supportive and nonjudgmental space. I have particular experience working with individuals facing complex mental health concerns and co-occurring substance use challenges, and I focus on helping clients make sustainable, meaningful changes in their lives.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, calm, and supportive environment where we begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, your goals, and what you hope to change, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I focus on understanding the full picture of your experiences while also identifying initial, practical goals we can work toward together. By the end of the session, clients typically leave with greater clarity, a sense of direction, and a clear understanding of how therapy will support their needs moving forward.
