Great to meet you!

I specialize in working with LGBTQAI+ folks who are struggling with relationships, trauma, panic disorder, and social anxiety to go from feeling overwhelmed and disconnected to finding safety, calm, and confidence within themselves and their relationships. I have two master's degrees that assist me in working with queer and trans folks as well as complex relationships and I have been a practicing marriage and family therapist since 2020.

When you sit down for a session with me you can rest assured that you not only are meeting with someone who has the training and education to assist you with achieving real change, but that you’re sitting down with someone who has been where you’re at and will hold space for you to truly be yourself. As a queer and trans person I take great pride in working with other members of my community. Whether you are exploring your identity, wanting to work on LGBTQAI+ issues, or just want to sit with someone who gets it I’m happy to be a safe space for you in this chaotic and scary world.

My approach to therapy

I strive to create a warm, authentic, and safe environment for you to generate meaningful insights and move forward towards your goals. I often combine family systems and attachment theories with specialized approaches like EMDR, CBT, and the Gottman method. This eclectic approach allows me to cater our time together towards what is going to work best for you and your goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, you can expect to be welcomed warmly and openly while we begin getting to know each other. I will ask you about yourself and what brings you to therapy at this time. We'll spend some time talking about these topics before we establish some goals to work on together. At the end of our first session, we will collaborate on how often you are seen, and we will schedule your next session.
